GOAT starters.
Venusaur was great thanks to Sleep Powder but has a limited movepool without TMs.
Meganium was okay in story teams at best.
Sceptile is complete and utter shit and people will get mad at me for telling the truth.
Serperior just isn't good for the story but fun otherwise.

i chose bulbasaur this gen because i started out with froakie anyway

7/10 would use again

i almost always choose water anyway. I didn't in gen 4 because my cousin told me there were only 2 fire pokemon for most of the game

OP is wrong, though. All starter types have their good points. Water is usually a best, especially since Gen II.
