I think I got jealous just one time, when I played Black and Ghetsis had Bisharp, Hydreigon and Cofagrigus. I was using these Pokemon too (I still like them very much).

I know what you mean, OP. You feel as though it invalidates your team because it's "just a copy" of theirs, I was the same in Ruby with the dragon E4 member using Salamence

In fairness leaders will always use their region's pseudo-legendary, so goodra was to be expected. Gardevoir was a bit of a retarded choice for Diantha though

Well yeah. They're Monotype trainers. They're pretty much all like that.

At least they aren't as pissant as the RS E4. I'm convinced the entire reason they swapped Steven with Wallace in Emerald is because a Kyogre with Ice Beam/Surf/Thunder can pretty much solo them all with little effort.

I used Rhydon and Exeggutor in FireRed so I shared two Pokémon with Blue. I don't really mind it since I like to imagine them all having completely different personalities and when I usually use the same Pokémon as a rival I go for the opposite gender as well.
