Smogon shouldn't have banned Weavile from UU. Weavile is shit. If there's a black cat that needs to be banned from UU is Umbreon. Seriously, that shit's frustrating like Gliscor but with Wish instead of Poison heal and actual SpD and HP stats.

The existence of counters does not make a pokemon balanced. If every team has to bring that pokemon AND the counter to that pokemon in order to be a top tier team, that pokemon is a problem that needs to be dealt with.

Your bro is too strong for UU, cry more.

BL lists are there to make metas more balanced and fun, lower tiers don't have to accept every strong thing that the upper tiers don't feel like using. And honestly if something is too strong for tier X it's strong enough to be used in tier X+1. There's a handful of exceptions though, but Weavile is pretty solid.
