A trainer must know their Pokemon's current strength and weaknesses so together they can battle properly. The opponent's Pokemon will not attack the trainers Pokemon unless the command from the Trainer is to reach down inside and touch the Pokemon. WHen a pokemon makes a move without it's trainers command is a bad move. You need to learn to have faith and strength in your Pokemon so that your opponent will know what to do and attack. If you grow, so will your Pokemon and that;s what counts!
