I'm curious: Did they give Charizard an extra Mega because he was due to be in Smash, or did they put him in Smash because Game Freak generated more pandering via generation six? It feels like all of this was culminating in his announcement for Smash. If not, perhaps we could've actually gotten Venusaur X and Blatoise X as well. It's a damn shame.
