Ok, so maybe somebody here can help me out. I have an Espeon. a Shiny Espeon. A friend of mine traded it to me on pokemon platinum as an egg. I hatched it into a shiny Eevee then evolved it myself into a shiny Espeon. the other day I sent it through pokemonbank up to my Pokemon X game. When I went and checked on it in my box, it's name and region were now Japanese for seemingly no reason.

Does anyone have any POSSIBLE explanation for this? I mean, its not really that big of a deal, just kind of annoying.

also general pokebank weirdness (if anyone else has run into anything, related or not)
