Yeah, yeah I know ANOTHER smash bros thread, but I need to say this. Sakurai is making a huge mistake by taking out Pokemon Trainer.
Pokemon as a franchise has never been well represented by the smash games. Most of the poekmon added were either clones (jigglypuff and pichu) or edgy pokemon (lucario and greninja).
Now imagine that you've never played pokemon before and the first time you saw pokemon was from shamsh bros. Tell me you wouldn't think that the franchise looked dumb.
The biggest apple about pokemon is, that no matter who you are there will be a pokemon for you. Pokemon trainer embodied this simple idea.
Now that he's gone part of the magic of pokemon is gone.
