So I'm on a feebas hunt in emerald right now and I'm just curious. Have any of you caught one on the first tile you tried or one relatively early?

Only once and it was during a nuzlocke. The only thing rarer than that I think would be if it was shiny on top of that.

I don't think I've ever looked for chimeco. Is it just a rare pokemon or is there something special about it like feebas

Yeah, Milotic is still one of my favorite water types. I've used her a ton in hacks and the real games because of that run. There's only very few Water types I prefer over but she's definitely my favorite 'bulky' water type out there.

It's fairly rare Anon. It's only found in one spot in generation 3 and it has a low appearance rate. Arguably it's one of the last Pokemon added in the game and was stolen from Gen 4 though. I suppose that makes it 'unique' in some sense. It's not a fantastic Pokemon, but it is very unique. Try catching one early in Platinum and trying him out, he can be fun to use.

She's one of the two water types I really use. The other one being gyrados. Deffinatley a cool design and ending up with a milotic after the hunt kinda makes it all worth it. All elegant and shit

Its never really appealed to me too much. I had no idea it was taken from gen 4 though. I am doing a platinum run after this emerald one I'll give it a shot to mix things up

Yeah, Gyarados is one of my favorites easily. As is Starmie as well. I have a soft spot for most Gen 1 Water types, and all of the ground/water types as well.

As far as gen 1 water types go I think speaking is possibly the ugliest Mon gf ever designed. I use gyrados although this time around I decided on milotic instead. I always like whiscash for a ground/ water mostly because Wallace's fucked my shit up with earthquake back when I first played sapphire.
