But I think they had more passion for the show. The writers cared to make the dialogue punny at the least, occasionally even hiding jokes and references for older audiences. And even if they had a small pool of main actors, they all had enough range to play the characters. (For years I had no idea that Misty=Jessie and Brock=James in the dub.)
