>>18829599>>18829613>>18829648Just checked: This is Blastoise's Pokedex entry in Ruby and Sapphire: BLASTOISE has water spouts that protrude from its shell. The water spouts are very accurate. They can shoot bullets of water with enough accuracy to strike empty cans from a distance of over 160 feet.
And this is the Pokedex entry for Charizard in Y: Its wings can carry this Pokémon close to an altitude of 4,600 feet. It blows out fire at very high temperatures.
For those of you who didn't pay much attention in math, 4,600 is much bigger than 160.
And that 160 foot accuracy thing only applies for targets at roughly the same elevation as the cannons. Blastoise would have an even shorter vertical range because it would be working against gravity.
Flying out of Blastoise's range should've been simple for Charizard. Why the fuck would it fight it at close range instead?
>>18829691That's no excuse. Charizard would still take pride in flaunting its superior maneuverability, and its signature combat techniques are ranged. It might not fly above the clouds, but it should still soar well out of range of Blastoise's cannons while continuously attacking with its famously fiery breath.
