I tried running it with choice specs and life orb, it wan't all that bad but yeah, it's still really frail and doesn't have quite the power compared to the other fire tipes.
Maybe if they would have given him something like Nasty Plot...

It's actually pretty decent in doubles. Also, pokeaim used it to pretty good success in 6v6 singles as well. It's not great but it's certainly not complete ass.

I even forgot moves like Noble Roar existed, and it's funny because they were just introduced this gen and i don't i ever saw someone using it, same thing with moves like Venom Drench, Eerie impulse, Rototiller etc.

The only one I frankly use is Parting Shot on Pangoro, since it's actually useful for bringing in setup sweepers. Scarfed, Sashed, etc almost always games unless the opponent has a strong priority user and I don't have my hazards up yet.

I think i never saw their animations in battle once, and most of Pokemon learn those moves using the move relearner or via breeding so it's not that easy to get them

Maybe if Pyroar got baton pass (inb4 Smogon suspecting it) at least it would have been interesting to see him passing down its atk boost to a physical attacker to counter a special wall
