Greetings, /vp/. I am Professor Colress, former head of Team Plasma. I come to you today with a purely theoretical question, as I am lead to believe you people to be remarkably knowledgeable about pokemon science in spite of your... various other shortcomings.

More importantly, you don't ask too many questions.

As I am sure many of you 'Animefags' (I assume that is the correct term.) are aware, I once designed a device for Team Plasma that would allow the control of any Pokemon, no matter previous affiliation, power level or the strength of its bond with its trainer. However, I have recently become aware of something called 'Mega-Evolution', facilitated by a bond apparently stronger than any other potential bond between trainer and pokemon.

Probably not how it actually works, but at the moment I am forced to make do with limited amounts of research material.

My question is: Would it, now this is completely theoretical mind you, be possible to override a Mega-Evolved Pokemon's loyalty to their trainer?
