Confession time: Never got to Mewtwo, even tho I had Yellow as a kid. Always started a new adventure each few weeks instead of playing 'til the end. Wonder if I'm the only one with New Game Syndrome.

Regardless I fucking love Mewtwo. Got a VHS tape of Pokemon: The First Movie for my birthday, watched it all day. Mewtwo was one of my first Pokemon cards (not a holographic, tho I had a holo of Gyarados, pretty ballin')

I remember weakening mewtwo anyway, although I had the master ball.

I wanted to give it a good fight before catching it, you know?

After that it pretty much rotted in my box though, because I refused to use it, even against schoolmates. I did pretty well regardless though, mainly due to paralysis hax and CH everywhere.

Man, you're a saint. I remember my cousin always beating my underleveled team's ass with his Mewtwo and then laughing about it. And also laughing at the nicknames of my pokemon. But then later I somehow KO'd his lvl 65 Raichu. Felt like a fucking boss.

By that point I'd exploited the missingno glitch and had levelled all my pokemon up with rare candy and had a limitless supply of master balls.

My first encounter with Mewtwo could be classed as a successful disaster. It was plainly too strong for me, it was owning me left and right, save for my Blastoise and luck being on my side with Blizzard. I had to cheese with some potions, but I actually managed to defeat it. If I had tried to catch it, I ran out of poke balls long ago, and I had already used the Master Ball on something stupid. I'm also sure that I thought save for the Master Ball, it was impossible to catch because they all missed. The victory stayed with me, though, so when I first played Silver, I chose Totodile to honor my Blastoise's victory. I have not used it since then, though, preferring to pick Typhy.
