>>18871021You'll be using your (only) Fairy STAB on all things except those that resist it: Fire/Poison/Steel/Psychic.
For coverage (ignoring hidden power assuming in-game), Florges gets Psychic and Energy Ball for coverage.
Psychic hits Fire neutral, SE on Poison, resisted by Steel/Psychic.
Grass hits Psychic neutral, resisted by Fire/Steel/Poison.
However, if you use Grassy Terrain over Misty (hp heal vs status; grass boost vs dragon halved), you get a pseudo STAB on your Grass moves, giving you better offensive coverage against Water/Ground/Rock types and the few mixed type mons that resist Fairy but not Grass (Empoleon, Excadrill, etc).
HP Ground hits all for SE except Psychic.
If you change your final slot to Wish, you can have better recovery, support teammates, and increases your longevity setting up (at which point you probably use Psychic due to no GT boost); however, this is a very turn intensive set that setups forever before doing much.
>>18871516Baton Pass falls apart outside singles. You could even use it in 3v3 singles to success, but there's too much room for error, too many free turns for your opponent to have a counter used.
