It's been so long since I played Sapphire, I wish I could remember... if they ever do remake Hoenn (which i hope is soon), it would be great if they let other people visit each others bases through wifi. I think that would be a great experience! We could have secret trainer meetups and all sorts of clubs depending on whose base we visited! A /vp/ secret base?

Sadly my Sharpedo and Dusclops were lost in a tragic cart-wipe in White. It was sorta like Lynard Skynard but not really.

I usually had mine in the same route, in the bush in the top right surrounded by grass. IIRC it was one of the most spacious bases and it was easy to get back and forth from.

Why they didn't just let you Fly to your own base, I'll never know. The whole mechanic has a ton of potential for the remakes, just combine it with the Sinnoh underground.

Mine was down the river from there until you hit the rocks. The tree on the left was my base. Took me forever to find a base that size since all the other ones were taken during record swapping.
