They are identical in stats, the only difference is that regirock has higher physical defense and attack, while regice has the same stats but in sp. defense and sp. attack.

Lol, I know that, but that doesn't mean really anything.

Kyogre and Groudon have identical stats but Kyogre is solidly better.

The point is Regice has BoltBeam and its Special Defense works better with its role. Regirock has the less useful SlideQuake and its defensive wall abilities don't work out that well.

At least in RSE.

In Gen 5, Regirock was a solid RU Sun setter with fantastic physical bulk, Stealth Rock support, and enough offensive presence to be a reliable setup instead of setup bait.

Both had generic tanky sets for both NU and RU. Both their typings are pretty terrible for defensive mons though, despite their typing.

Regigigas is my favorite legendary. No idea why the hell it looks like Elvis fucked a temple, but still, he's baller, even if it sucks competitively because of Slow Start.
