The chance of a legend being perfect and legit is really really low. And even if you don't care about legit stuff you can easily gen any 5 gen or under pokémon, while the shiny edge takes time.
You could even get the best Darkrai possible, the Honedge is still superiot in rarity (although they're common if you count cloned ones)

Honestly, I have no idea why I still even try taking him on, the only two members of my team that ever seem to make a dent are Trevenant and M-Mawile, no matter what the other 4 are

Chandelure (maybe w Scarf)
MegaZard X/Y (careful of his ditto)
Priority Taunt ANYTHING (sableye, some kamis etc)

also, MEGA-Luke? Really? get yourself a Blazikenite (or a Gengarite or a Kangaskhanite)
