There are 6 gens, and as long as you actually bothered to play each one, you should have no issues remembering where each and every Pokémon is from. Shit, you know all of their names too. You're a scrub if you forget typings, but hey, I still do that sometimes too fucking Drapion. But if you legitimately don't even know the starters, you're probably retarded. Head to a doctor buddy, get your head looked at.

I get some pokemon mixed up too, but only rarely, for example I forgot that mienshao/mienfoo were gen 5 pokemon a lot because theyr designs aren't very gen-specific. Same goes for forgettable gen 4 fish (finneon and lumieon or some shit)

There's a lot of stupidity going on in this thread but I have to agree here. If there's one thing the Pokemon series lacks memorability with it's towns and their names. I couldn't name any city from gens 4-6 off the top of my head, not even the starting ones, and it'd take me a bit to remember the name of a given Hoenn town, even.

I get the water starters for gens 4/5, but that's it. I also didn't play gen 4 when it came out so that could be a reason why.
