I hardly consider a pokemon game shit, really.

The only ones I disliked were SoulSilver and Black 2, and even then Johto is a cool region so it wasn't really that bad. Black 2 was just plain fucking boring though

Im sticking to Blaze Black 2 Volt White 2.

Gen 6 just copypasted the Gen 5 formula but with 3D models. I cant really reward Gamefreak for that.

Another region capitol with some decent visuals yet every other town looks like the same crap we've seen since Gen 4
Another on-rails story

They shafted steel when Hyper Offense was already bad.

Probably would have made a difference if not for Megas

The in-game, post-game and competitive was just piss poor. Even most of the exploring was done in the first 10 hours of the game.

I dont think anything is worse than Gen 6.

What good reason is there to buy XY when the sequel is pretty much guaranteed to be better, and the story is shit anyway?

What good reason is there to not play multiplayer on simulators when simulators offer everything cartridge does (Battle Spot formats) and more (6v6, tiers, previous gens, custom metas, etc,) without the need to breed/gen everything?
