Hey /vp/ I have a few questions, as well as concerns. First off, just to get this out of the way, how exactly does trading work between the 5th and 6th generations? I have not looked into getting the 6th gen, nor will I get X or Y for some time. I would call myself somewhat a Pokemon Purist, not a nostalgiafag. Of course its all personal preference; however, I am asking for your input. Why should or shouldn't I go 6th gen? At this point all I have is a DS Lite, currently aiming to be the champ in each game I have from Gen 3-5. Ive started light breeding programs in Heart Gold and in Platinum. My main focus is to raise Pokemon by 5th gen standards, as thats the latest game I have. Am I just wasting time? Of course I will play these games a lot, I just dont want to waste time breeding if I wont be able to pass them on to the latest generation.

Also, to keep this interesting, what games are you currently working on /vp/? Any generation.
