Congratulations! Even though it wasn't actually found by you, it was still met by chance, just like when you meet one in the game. If it makes you feel any better, I've never found a shiny either, and I've been doing the Masuda Method ever since Platinum... Magician has zero use unless you're using stupid shit like Power Herb Solarbeam.

In RU, probably the only place Delphox has ever been seriously tried out, all the good sets use Blaze because their items are leftovers (for Calm Mind sets,) choice items or just Life Orb.
