So I hatched this guy after 159 eggs at 1am on Friday so it counts! but it's 5 iv missing it's att stat calculated at 20. So i'm wondering if that's gonna affect me too much.

Also last /shw/ I hatched a Bagon at the last minute that's missing it's hp IV at 26 so is that alright also?

I think I'm gonna try and hatch a Hawlucha next :P

Hey all, hows them hunts goin?

In addition to getting my shiny Shelmet at the end of the last /shw/, this glorious fella showed up on thursday.
Have knicknamed him Karma, as the day before I went into a super productive mode and did all the housework, a load of filing, cooked and washed up everything, running errands collecting stuff for my folks etc and no gaming.
The next day he was the 3rd soft reset.
Although in total it was around 2700 I think. Been a good long while hunting him.

I wouldn't bother with the capsule, missing Atk and all it'll never really be perfect or ideal. SleepTalk set might've been possible, but the Shed Skin makes it less reliable.

How am I?
Fuckin mad. My hinge broke and I have to pay $70 to send it to Nintendo so they can fix it. If I wait until next month I'll have to pay another $30 because of the warranty expiring. I'm scared to even play it, if it's at a 90 degree angle, the hinge just comes out of the socket and I could very easily tear the top screen ribbon.

If you know your type match ups/prediction/strategy you can usually beat people regardless of iv's or natures.

Usually I lose because I switch too much, over prediction making me take too much damage.

Vaporeon packs a punch if you build it to. People usually don't because it gets overshadowed by its bulky builds. Even if you pass over Surf for STAB Scald you're still doing excellent damage with a good chance to burn.

I've changed where I train attack hoping to find gligar.
Defense ev's are a pain, you either gotta go roggenrola hordes, nosepass hordes (both of these have sturdy) or durant hordes.
But the durant hordes are higher in level making switch training more likely/time consuming

I mean, do the E4 count as Masters? Just the Champions? Gym Leaders? Why "Master", and is it a profession? Do they get everything handed to them on a platter for their entire lives because they proved themselves as a master? It seems silly if a Pokemon master beats the League, and ends up working at a Poke'Mart or something.

Like, WHY does Ash want to be a master? He never says why. Is it just the fame, or what?

Am I overthinking this?

yeah the HP was a letdown... It's Calm natured so I hope it can tank some attacks despite the lack of HP...

This is the op from the thread posted a few days ago asking probability on catching a gen 2 ho-oh shiny on the gold cart at 4 resets per minute.

I managed to get him. For those intereste he appeared around soft reset number 1,953. I tried to get a shiny torchic in ruby before this and failed after 3,000 tries. Combining all my failed attempts for a shiny in unmodified rarity by the 1/8,000 something probability it strictly took me well over 5,000 to run into my first
shiny. Going after lv 70 shiny lugia now without a masterball. Making a lvl 70 dreamteam to catch him.
