My first Johto game was actually the Vietnamese Crystal, as it's come to be known around here. I could barely tell what the fuck was going on or what the new Pokemon were or what I was even supposed to do, so a bit after Morty I got really lost since Jasmine wasn't in her gym and just decided to explore everywhere. I then wondered what would happen if I swam to the east of the starting town, like how surfing down from Pallet Town brings you to Cinnabar island quickly, but this would bring me off the map. Then the music played, I checked my town map, and I was back in RBY territory.
Having literally no words to describe it because of the garbled english for my whole game made for a unique memory.
