No retard, only 1 and 2 were ridiculously far enough behind the times that they needed a remake. Now everything has full color pixel art and doesn't need to be touched until some form of collector's edition that houses the first ten generations.

Gamefreak made the remakes for money. Ruby and Sapphire are the best selling games for the GBA, they'll get remakes.

Blue/Green and Silver/Gold were remade because there was no way to link up gen 1 and 2 with the others. It meant that any work you did on those games, you could never take them off it and bring them to the current gen. By remaking them, all games became linked together. Hoenn is already connected in the same way Leaf Green/Fire Red is. While I do think there might be a remake eventually, I really don't believe it's going to be any time soon.

There was much less of a graphical difference between the GBA and the DS than there was between the original GB and the GBA or the GBC and the DS.
I'd expect to see remakes come out two systems after the originals rather than two generations.

Why don't people want a gen 3 remake if there's more that GF could add? Maybe even add walking Pokemon, since Lucario and Espurr have models in the overworld so it could be expanded.
