I really like her, but it hurts me that her team is so dissapointing.
Hell, i don't like Cynthia, but at least she's got a nice team ready to fuck you up, and you see her a few times in the story, so you can at least feel empathy towards her.

D-damn, she actually looks kinda nice there. And nice trips, too.

I will give her this, and perhaps only this, I do like how she at least tried to assemble a team of some of the strongest unique Kalos Pokemon, however that's... not really saying much since the actual good ones were taken by the Elite Four (Aegislash, and Talonflame). But, I'd say she gets points for trying.

I like to think that every NPC who uses a Mega has two aces, a Gen 6 one and a Mega.

The rival has their starter and Absol, Korrina has Hawlucha and Lucario, Lysandre has Pyroar and Gyarados.

Out of Diantha's other Pokemon, I'd put either Goodra or Gourgeist as her Kalos ace.
