>>18921457Are you serious? Players know more about games than the devs do most of the time. Unless the developers are an active part of the community (Bungie is a good example), the players are the ones who actually PLAY the game, and know from experience how things work.
The developers have a vision for the game's balancing, but there's no game in the fucking universe where the metagame is exactly what the developers intend.
Even fucking LoL, the game where the developers actively and regularly try to restrict the metagame, has flexibility and sees players coming up with things developers don't even realize.
