The thing that killed this guy the most was Scizor getting a Mega AND Fairies. Those two combined made Steel a useful attacking type, so even if it had Arceus levels of bulk, it'd get fucking murdered.
Also it being neutral to fire and weak to Rock doesn't help. If only Ice resisted Grass and Water, maybe it wouldn't look too terrible. But being quad-Steel/Fighting weak and having about 9 other awful weaknesses to everything good ... Ice/Rock is just the worst typing in the entire game. You literally cannot get a worse typing defensively.
Snow Warning on that thing might make it a little better, though it also thrives in the sand and gets a really powerful Ice move through Hyper Voice or Double Edge if its not running Snow Warning even when it gets it.

Spike Shield maybe doing 1/4 the damage Chesnaught should have taken to the attacker and/or stacking with Rocky Helmet, Bullet proof blocking Fire Blast/moonblast...
