Its not too bad, I liked the whole gameplay forcing you to use new unovamons and the storys one of the better ones pokemon has done.

If you like plot and actually good villains (Other than N) you won't be disappointed at all because Gen 5's plot actually has thought put into it.

BW attempted to tell a pretty decent story,
B2W2 is overall one of the best games and has probably one of the best postgames.

This is my favourite gen, although I will say that Unova as a region is a bit lacking in exploration and unfortunately Kalos isn't that much better in that regard either.

BW had a good story and characters for Pokemon (which isn't saying a ton, it's about on the level of an average JRPG but it had a few genuinely interesting moments). BW2's story was a bad conclusion to BW's okay story, but it had a lot of additional content. The Unova region itself had a decent feel to it but a shitty layout that makes both games feel very linear. Kalos also feels linear due to the excessive amount of hand-holding and railroading though so whatever.

B/W was too heavy on the story and lacked actual gameplay.

B2/W2 kept the strong story and actually give it gameplay. Also has the best post game since Gen II

You could skip it if you want to. The only problem would be that you won't be able to transfer Gen 4 mons to Gen 6 without one of these games. If you need to buy it, just get B2/W2, it's better than B/W in every way.

Same here, actually. But there are still some factors against that: for instance, long after you beat the game and stop Team Plasma, the Shadow Triad still continue to face you in Icirrus City once a month. Why would they continue to keep up that facade?

Gen V has a lot of great pokemon and has become less reliant on the useless HM's (anything that isnt Fly or Surf) during the initial game. The music's pretty cool too

id say if youre going to skip anything, just go straight to BW2, where they have all the 3rd game features (join avenue, move tutors

Yeah, this... still bugs me. I've seen some theories of how the original dragon would be able to match Arceus in power (Kyurem = 660 BST, Resh / Zek = 680 BST, B/W Kyurem = 700 BST), so if you could just find a way to fuse all three dragons, that'd be pretty cool.

But sadly, I feel like they'll just abandon that idea.
