Well, /vp/, I've finally learned heartbreak. Went fishin for no gud resin and in the back of my head remembered something about chain fishing, so I set myself up in a place where it could happen. Caught a Dragonair which I didn't have yet, then 7-8 fights later stumbled onto a L.50 one of these guys. This was the first legit shiny I've EVER seen. Quick Ball failed. OK, lets catch it like anything else, lower its stats and use Ultras on it.

Two turns in it uses a move I've never even seen (maybe once?).

Final Gambit. I didn't even know that the move existed (let alone that Basculin could get it).
