Gen1/2 remakes were made because you couldn't transfer mons from them, you can now transfer mons since gen3 up to gen6, so no remakes are needed.
If they were going to make them, they would've made them instead of BW2, but they didn't, so they are pretty much de-confirmed at this point.
Any people who argue this is pretty much a close-minded faggot.

Well, you can only transfer gen III mons if you have a DS/DS Lite, which aren't in production anymore.
But besides move tutors, why would you even want to transfer them?

HG/SS were just fan pandering because you could acquire the necessary Johto mons to finish the national dex even without Colosseum.

The only reason there wasn't a remake is because it was at the end of the DS's life right?
Nintendo didn't even want a third version on the DS because of that.

If it really replaces Soul Dew, then all it confirms is that they'll make a special appearance sometime later, probably in a game since they already had a movie.

If they do remake RubeSapphire then I want the special events that came with them (Mew, Deoxys, etc)

Ho-oh and Lugia were counted as event mon in gen 3 so they weren't necessary.

The Kanto starters being in X and Y would be evidence against a remake. Why would htey give you the starters if they're gonna release a game where you get those very same starters? They gave Blaziken a mega, event only, but not the other two Hoenn starters. I see that as evidence for a Hoenn remake.

And not to forget that they put the legendary birds and mewtwo in XY. They always put all the legendary pokemon in different games of one generation so that people who don't own the old games can catch them.
I guess that there will be a shitload of legendary pokemon in Z and the RS remakes.
