why do people keep forgeting that swampert is water/ground?
i have encountered like 100 trainers that were trying thunder or thunderbolt it.

i just don't get it.

Because some people go by appearance to determine a pokemon's type, same reason there's people that use fire moves on Florges

I use Fire moves on Florges...coming from my Megazard X! Neutral hits to the face with raw power for OHKO.

but swampert is gen3 and florges is current gen. i determine this gen pokemon by appearance but already know if not every pokemon's type

There's more difficult Pokemon to guess the typing of than Swampert.
