They should just make it a passive thing that certain pokemon can always do after you get the appropriate badge. Like, all the bird pokemon can use fly outside of battle or scyther can use cut without actually having to learn the move.

Hopefully. HMs are fucking shit. Just make them TMs, give us items that replace the job of HMs (axe for Cut, Therfbort for Surf, etc.), nobody wants HM slaves in their in-game teams.

There would be incentive to use them if they are actually good. The only usable ones are Surf and Waterfall.

What's the point anymore of HMs? They used to be unique in that you could use them over and over again, while TMs were only of one-time use, but that's gone now.
