>>18970297Okay, so I guess Pascalinas are really useful, despite the fact that we've got modern computers nowadays. Oh, wait....
Face it. It's only "useful" because you've been taught to use it over alternatives. Not because it has any sort of advantages over them. In terms of Pokemon, it's a mon outclassed by everything even running NU.
>>18970273They're not stereotypes. They're adjectives. My train of thought goes: "Why wouldn't you want to stop using an obsolete system?"
a) You're an idiot.
b) You're too old to give a shit
c) You're hopelessly conservative.
a) and c) are irrational standpoints, and I hate irrational people. b) is excusable, but old people that don't care anymore shouldn't be making big decisions.
>Again, proving my points about stereotypes and showing your ignoranceNow THAT is a stereotype, and I reckon it. But I used it because of how ridiculously close to that you landed when you used that phrase.
The reason that we have to use the imperial system for certain applications is not that we do work for American companies (I mean, some people may, but it's not the case in general). It's that we buy surplus of American ordered stuff from China and other manufactures, because it's cheaper and we're poor like that. So yes, it's our fault that we have to use it, but no, it doesn't mean the Imperial system has any worth.
