When would being disguised as something else ever be good on something so frail? The opponent is going to one shot it no matter what they use. Having team preview barely changes this unless you're hoping to get hit by some psychic attack, but even then you'll probably die to an earthquake or something afterward.

If there was no Team Preview, you would have to fear the Illusion EVERY SINGLE MATCH, whether the opponent has a Zoroark or not. Team Preview doesn't ruin it, but it prevents it from being overcentralizing.
