Why are people still wanting Mewtwo to return to SSB? I thought Lucario was just Mewtwo reskinned and improve with linear flying balls of power instead whimsical barrel rolling balls of power.

Mewtwo was lighter and quicker with a completely different set of skills. I'm no mewtwo fanboy and I couldn't care less if he made it either way, but fuck I hate when people say they're clones of each other.

what people don't understand is that sakurai doesn't work that way so we get random stuff like wii fit trainer and greninja instead of the obvious choices
personally i like that they added a gen 6 rep in for pokemon instead of more gen 1 mons, we have enough of them already.

They're literally nothing alike aside from their B moves.

Anyway, Mewtwo is relevant again, so he'll more than likely return.

Not the guy you replied to, but I still play Brawl with friends. I'm the only one of them (other than one I don't see as often) who has a 3DS, and only 1 friend has a Wii U. (The one I don't see as often.)

This would be a great lineup for Smash.

I hope custom movesets have some way to let you change Charizard's Final Smash to his Y form. Couldn't take it online, but it would be fun.

Project M puts Mewtwo in the hands of a few thousand players who already know about him.

A Smash 4 appearance would introduce Mewtwo to people who may have never played a Pokemon game anymore. From there, many of those people would become new Mewtwo fans.

Project M won't have that same effect.
