Think about it as a console that already had a remake not a generation. Not that I care about Hoenn remakes, I want Kanto again, Kanto has been on every console so far, except the 3DS, open your eyes, it's obvious.

Unfortunately, with all of the Gen 1 pandering, they might as well remake Pokemon Red and Blue and literally just call them that, but market it like, "Remember Red and Blue?! It's back and it's on the 3DS! CHARIZARD!" or something.
