OKCupid feels like the prolapsed asshole of the internet until you finally meet someone decent and can finally give it up. Seriously, some of the biggest pieces of shit I've ever interacted with in my life were met through that site, some of the stories are actually comical. I made plans to go out for dinner with a girl from that site, she said she was shopping at Wal-Mart for a new phone case and That I could meet her there and then we could go to the restaurant. when I got there she bumblefucked around the electronics area not seeming to actually be looking at cases, we wandered aimlessly around the store talking about bullshit, then when we finally made our way out to the cars all she wanted to do was sit in the parking lot and tell me stories about her abusive boyfriends and her accidental daughter that she put up for adoption and her ex that's in the russian mafia. Then she had to rush home because her brother and her stepdad got into a fight "again" on their front lawn and security for her housing development called her to split it up. A couple hours later she sent me a text saying I was nice but SHE didn't want to see ME anymore.
But then some time later I met a beautiful chinese girl and we've been together for a long time. It's like any part of life, really - you have to wade through a lot of bullshit before you get into something worthwhile.
