Indeed, some of them are weird looking, like conkeldurr, but if nintendo/game freak had any sense this would be the Pokemon Z main storyline, Zygarde comes up, creates an army of Z-mon like mewtwo and clones in the movie, would buy...twice

Would it make sense lore-wise, though? All we know is that it watches over the environment and "unleashes its power" once it's been messed with, and is also implied to be the balance between creation (Xerneas) and destruction (Yveltal).

Not gonna lie though, Zygarde cloned Pokemon would be pretty awesome.

I suppose if they went the way of Gallade/Gardevoir and did a male branch off of sliggoo? I can kind of agree with the fact it is very feminine looking but its not the be all end all if it is a boy also, like level up sliggoo in a drought becomes the mail version or some shit

Zygarde infects all Pokemon having a dominant X or Y chromosome -- wild and tame alike -- causing them to fall under its command.

The only way to break this infection is to defeat Zygarde. The only Pokemon available for use/capture until you clear the main story are those falling into a genderless species.

The final story battle is a 3v3 against Zygarde, Yvetal, and Xerneas.

I love this except for the second half of your middle point. I love the direction they took with X&Y in giving you the opportunity to use something like 400 different Pokémon for the single player. Limiting us like that would make a really boring game.

I agree. Uninfected Pokemon should appear during the main story. Of course, infected Pokemon should show up in certain areas and uncommonly outside of these areas.

Dragonite not so much, when i think of dragonite i always think back to the original anime where he was this huge shadow thing and dead powerful looking, im not saying goodra is 100% girly im just saying it does look rather girly, like i said, its not the be all end all and that said it doesnt have to be edgy as fuck for it to be deemed "boyish" i dont have a problem with it really just looks more on the girls side is all.

Pretty much. It's a slug dragon, so it'd be biologically appropriate for those antennae on it's head "long ones" to be it's love darts. It also attacks with them, so it's like you're getting snail cockslapped to death by it.

That's pretty simple though... you have a Mega Ring. So, if you make it so any Mega Ring holder has their Pokemon spared (and then you have to go around and help capture/free/whatnot) then you might have something there.

It does sound a bit like the plot of Gale of Darkness but who is to say that wasn't a bad direction to take?

Give the protag's friends some Mega Rings, and it can easily be explained why the player don't have to help every single person in the region. The friends will also have the benefit of appearing useful to the plot, if off-screen.

It would be kind of interesting if, at the point of defeating the Z-slaves, and them reverting, you got the chance to catch the non-altered pokemon. Would be away of sprinkling potentially powerful pokemon throughout the map and story.

That's pretty cool. I had an idea as to how X2/Y2 would work.

Ever notice that light coming out of the middle of Zygarde's head? I think that could be a subtle hint that a sleeker, more powerful pokemon is hiding underneath its rough, scaly skin.

Zygarde as it is now doesn't make much sense as a pokemon, being a trio master whose only real advantage against Xerneas and Yveltal is Aura Break. When X2/Y2 comes around, it could shed its skin and transform into a more powerful newer version of itself in order to act against either Xerneas or Yveltal, each form getting its own signature move.

That last paragraph is all but confirmed by the existence of Thousand Arrows and Thousand Waves, both of which are functionally Land's Wrath clones with cool secondary effects, and both of which feature Zygarde's scale patterns in their animations.

The main thing i'm confused about is how it could work against Xerneas whilst still being a Dragon.

Maybe it could change into Poison/Ground or something and get a revamped movepool while it's in that form. Poison Jab, Gunk Shot, all that jazz could be fitted onto it easily while benefiting base Zygarde as it only has like 5 real attack options, none of them hitting Fairies as much as it would like to.

Also, We'd finally get that Poison legend we've been asking for

Steel could work but i'm leaning more towards Poison since Zygarde shares a ton of similarities with Snakes.

So i'm thinking Poison/Ground for the 1st one. the 2nd one could go a few ways but it could remain Dragon/Ground since Thousand Arrows already grounds Flying types. Dark/Flying does have a good amount of weaknesses, though.

Something seems off about the Zygarde we have now. Not in the obvious sense like Kyurem's asymmetry or Giratina's bloatedness.
