>>18972940>>18972949I never said there weren't exceptions. But what the hell.
>Mr. MimeWell I guess it's subjective, but it's important to note that there's no gender implication in the Japanese.
>GranbullSomething of an in-joke, but Snubull and Granbull are thought of as being "cute" dogs in-game.
>Mawile>not feminine>literally based on a female mythological figureAlso I'm sure a fair amount of Pokephiles on here alone would disagree. Shit, I can find you a post right now:
>>18972263>XerneasNot in general, however relative to other legendaries Xerneas is clearly one of the most slender and diminutive.
>klefkiKlefki is fucking tiny
>carbinkYou look into those eyes and your heart doesn't melt?
>muh headcanonPlease indicate a single thing I've said that is "headcanon."
I'm not saying it would be impossible to give Gallade fairy typing, I'm just saying it is more fitting as it is. If you're going to fantasize about making Pokemon viable that's fine, but competitive viability isn't the only thing in the world.
>>18972940>Your actually reason was even dumber. Like his appearance should matter when deciding his type. What are you talking about, you think appearance SHOULDN'T matter?
>Charizard looks like a fucking dragon, but isn't dragon type.Yes, and THAT would be and has always been a legitimate complaint. Sorry, I'm not the strawman you've invented. Some typings are bad, but the doesn't mean it's a fucking free for all. If they retconned Goldeen to be Grass/Ground it would be stupid, and it doesn't make it less stupid that Charizard wasn't dragon type.
