Technically, no characters have any personalities at all - the extent of their personality is a few lines of text, and that's all they'll ever say.
Technically, this 'blank-slate in-game Red' isn't even called Red.
Technically, it's an 8 bit game with a few mathematical mechanics. Boring, right? What's the appeal?
