>>18986081>shitty regionI'll bite. Gen II was the only region that succeeded in establishing a memorable and unique culture. At least it made towns interesting with things like Sprout tower, Burned tower, Dragon's den, slowpoke well, etc. Johto established a common theme that makes the region feel alive, which is more than you can say with the haphazard gens of today. Take a look at gen 6 -- it doesn't have its own feel, because they just threw together a bit of everything for the hell of it: a swamp, a metropolis, a snowy city, a old fashioned town, etc. No common link. It's bland.
Fuck you, Johto may not have been the best with level scaling and it was smaller (for fucksakes, it was on the GBC), but it was not a shitty region.
