For people who don't live in the continental US, can people please catch and trade more exotic vivs/spewpa/scatterbugs?

I want some green and brown patterns, but peeps on the global trade station keep asking for fucking legendaries and event poke. Do they think they're really gonna get some rare pokemon for some relatively cheap ones?
