I personally thought the majority of the Yellow sprites were pretty excellent, especially for the time period they came out in. In particular, I really liked the Haunter, Charizard and Hitmonlee sprites.

And which palette do you prefer? Left to right: Game Boy, Super Game Boy, Game Boy Color. The Game Boy Color palette is exclusive to non-Japanese releases of Yellow since Game Boy Color support is not available in the Japanese version.

Probably GBC, if only because that's what I'm most used to. Even though Mewtwo and a couple others looked better on the Super Gameboy, I think the colours were more vibrant on the GBC.

Other shit ones: Golbat (debatable), Golduck, Poliwrath (shit pose), Machop, Rhyhorn, Omanyte, Kabuto (laziest sprite ever).

Yellow was mostly fine, but I never was attached to that version.
