It's the first time I got tired of playing a Pokémon
game. I've been replaying Crystal during the last 3 days and I'm already tired of continuing. This comes from someone who thought Gen II was the best gen for a good while until I stuck with Gen IV.

Probably I had nostalgia glasses or didn't pay attention before but now I'm trying to enjoy the game, yet I simply can't. So many things I didn't notice until these days are annoying me to no end while I'm playing, even little things that may seem unimportant to others can't do aything but piss me off. The list of flaws I have noticed goes on and on:

>Low level everything, trainers and Pokémon still in Lv2x when I'm already reaching the 7th gym
>The wild Pokemon fled!
>Probably the worst selection of TMs in Pokemon history
>Let's remove the best fire, electric and ice TMs and make them obtainable through a Move Tutor that can only appear after beating the E4
>And let's replace them for punch moves that can't be learned by almost all of the Pokémon that can get STAB from them
>Want Thunder? Good luck grinding those coins or having enough money to buy them
>More Gen I than Gen II Pokémon in Johto
>Gen II Pokémon only obtainable post E4 and not even in the new region (I really want a Houndoom but GF thought was a fucking great idea to make it appear in Kanto)
>Fucking Whirpool
>"I'm Clair and I'm a sore loser bitch who won't give you your Gym Badge"
>Lv25 Pidgeot!

And I still have to mentally prepare myself to grind to fight Red. It's amazing how Gen II just turned into my least favorite gen after years of believing it was the best. But let's not make it a personal blog. /vp/, what was the game that after revisiting, you noticed how crappy it actually was?
