It's not the same as getting real actors, but TPCI has been pulling from the Funimation and Aniplex talent pools the last few years. Every once in a while someone pops up randomly on the main series and every movie since Victini has had at least one guest actor outside of their usual cast; J. Michael Tatum and Leah Clark were in the Victini movie (and played Tobias and a COTD in the Audino episode, respectively), Vic Mignogna played Keldeo and also appeared as the professor in the Elgyem episode and several COTDs in the first Don George tournament. In the Genesect movie, they got indie actress and producer Miriam Pultro, who had already played Caitlin, as Femtwo, and got Sailor Moon VA Yuko Minaguchi to do the all of two lines the Chill Genesect had.
Meanwhile the Origins dub was entirely west coast VAs, with Bryce Papenbrook as Red, Kyle Hebert as Oak, Jamieson Price as Giovanni, among others. Spike Spencer and Cristina Vee showed up in the Mewtwo Prologue special as the Pokemon hunter and the little girl.
I've wanted to see Mark Hamill show up in a role for the longest time. Could see him playing Yveltal, even.

Movie 2 will be Zygarde and Hoopa. Hoopa will bring the gang dimension hopping as some kind of inter-dimensional criminal/prankster that ends up causing Xerneas and Yveltal to clash again and Zygarde is trying to kill it in order to fix the balance and protect the universe. Riot and Marilyn's boss will be the villain that tries to take control of all four legendaries.
Movie 3 will be Volcanion and Mega Evolution based. Conflict between Volcanion, the gang, and Mega Latios/Latias. Hoenn remakes and Z will be out by then so more Mega Pokemon will be available to use.
Movie 4, if there is a movie 4, will be some shit to promote Gen 7.

I just started watching subbed since I finally caught up after a marathon and wanted to start joining the hype, and I've never really had an issue with the voices, but holy shit after a few weeks watching the sub it's night and day quality. Japanese Clemont goes off the fucking tracks whenever he's in science mode, English Clemont just talks in the exact same voice as always.
I legitimately think Team Rocket's English VAs are better than the Japanese ones though, except for Meowth who's equally good between the two. And this includes the replacement actors after TPC took over.
