Maybe because X/Y processes better because it's running off the 3DS, a stronger handheld. Saving in X/Y practically takes a second.

Over-exaggeration it seems like.
Going back to BW was never a problem for me except for a few pokemon I've now internalized as fairy.

Yup, battles are 60 FPS, but the overworld was still 30 FPS.
