>>19005453to add to this many pokemon you think are shitty are in fact quite good and have been featured in finals of worlds/national championships. off the top of my head empoleon, snorlax, shedinja, moltres, escavalier, gothitelle, eelektross, krookodile, exeggutor although he wasn't actually used iirc, a bunch of others. and if you expand to even just the top cut of many tournaments, the list is just staggering. Almost any pokemon can be viable in the right hands, however there are some irredeemable shitmons, but they number very few (think unown/weedle etc)
