Sorry for my bad english. To the people who enjoy breeding pokemon and battle seriously how long did it take you to breed a team of the six pokemon you use for battle?

I don't care about pokegen or how easy hacking is. I am just interested on how much time goes into competive battle teams for people who don't use gen or bank things over.

Took me 15 hours, but I'm one of those autists that has to have hexaperfect pokes even if one of the IV's doesn't need to be perfect. You can probably get a good team in 5-10 hours, assuming you don't need to waste time trying to get the right spreads for specific hidden powers.

I played a little bit at a time, but in all it took me about a days worth if I stuck all the hours in at once.
In reality it took me about two weeks since I wasn't playing everyday and I usally played only a bit at a time.

Do you guys really take that long? The preparation may take a couple hours (getting pokerus, safaris, power items, 6iv ditto, etc) but when you have that, breeding a pokemon takes me 15-30 minutes, not more than that

I have a quick question, I'm trying to breed my first ever pentaperfect.

I have a 6IV father (from /vp/ giveaway) holding destiny knot and a 5 IV mother (bred myself with correct nature and egg moves but IVs in the wrong places) holding an everstone.

But for some reason most of the offspring are 4IVs, within some 1-3IVs too, and I seemingly never get perfect defense IVs.

Am I doing something wrong or do I need to keep hatching and luck out. I'm on the 2nd box of offspring from those two parents.

Somethings seems wrong, i always get 4 iv with 6 and a 5 iv. and i believe you cant get 1ivs with that combination

The minimum offspring IVs from a 6IV and a 5IV parent is a 4IV child. 1-3 IV results are impossible. Something is wrong.

S'all good. Took 46 from those parents and 80 in total but I got it. And I've just checked my marking and I've definitely got the occasional three and a two
