Give it a Flying-type Thunderbolt. You know, something like:

>Tornado
>Flying (Special)
>90 base power
>100 accuracy
>15 pp
>10% to confuse the target

Or give it Aeroblast

Would Aeroblast really save it? Why would anyone use Aeroblast Tornadus over Thundurus?

The only thing Tornadus has over Thundurus is Flying-type STAB (other than Fly). Teams that would benefit from offensive Flying-type moves could use Tornadus instead.

Aeroblast (or >>19013323) would really help it. Expand the movepool and give it an ability that benefits it better and Tornadus is saved.

This would actually be excellent. Competitive Aeroblast Tornadus would seriously intimidate Defoggers. +2 STAB Aeroblast coming from 125 Special Attack is something to watch out for. Got a Rock-type answer? Tornadus got Superpower or even Focus Miss.

However, it remains very frail and faces competition from Defiant Thundurus (which actually doesn't suck).
