>>19025980There's just nothing that really stood out for me in Gen 5. The Champion themes sucked (both of them), I don't even remember the Gym Leader's off the top of my head (other than the last-mon theme. That got as annoying as the low-health tune), and the Plasma Grunt theme also blows (BW2 fixed it somewhat, though).
But I can't think of a single overworld track from memory. I mean, I THINK I liked the Relic Castle, that underwater ruin, and the water-tunnel, but I don't actually remember the melodies.
I don't know if it's because the piano motif made things sound too 'soft' to stick in my head, or if it really was just a drab and generic generation of music.
I remember the most from Gen 3, followed by Gen 1 and 4, then 6 (because I'm still playing it, obviously), and there was a handful of greats in Gen 2 as well. But when I try to recall Gen 5, I come up blank.
Maybe it's time to fire up the ol' White and White 2 I never used (I played B/B2)...
